Joe Hart Wanted By Inter Miami (MSL)
Burnley goalkeeper Joe Hart has been offered a lifeline by his former England team-mate David Beckham, who has offered him a deal with his MLS team Inter Miami.
Hart, who is now third choice at Burnley has had an unhappy time since Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola ditched him in 2016 saying he was not good enough with his feet. He then went on loan to Italian club Torino before a further loan spell at West Ham United.
The Clarets six foot five inch shot stopper signed for Burnley in 2018 and played 19 times in the Premier League last season. However the former England goalkeeper who has 75 England caps to his name, has been an unused sub in each of Burnley’s games this season behind Clarets number one Nick Pope.
A source told The Sun on Sunday: “Joe has told some of his team-mates Becks has been in touch and he’s hopeful a deal can be done. He wants to be a Number One again and he’s frustrated that things haven’t worked out in England for him over the past few years. Miami would be great for him and would also be a high-profile club.”
David Beckham is keen to bring in as many big names as he can and has also been linked with stars Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez.
