Christian N’Guessan Joins Oldham Athletic On Season Long loan
Burnley Football Club have this morning confirmed that midfielder Christian N’Guessan has joined Oldham Athletic on a season long loan to assist their fight to maintain Football League status. The twenty-one year old will be looking to gain some first team experience whilst on loan at boundary Park.
He will find a familiar face in the Boundary Park dressing room in ex-Burnley midfielder David Jones who spent the first few months of the current campaign back at Turf Moor training at the start of the season. He will join the former Clarets contingent at Oldham who are currently 20th in Sky Bet League Two and nine points clear of the one relegation place. As former Clarets player Dino Maamria is the current boss of the Latic’s and he has Chris McCann and Chris Eagles in his squad.
N’Guessan, who joined Burnley from Blackpool in the summer of 2017 has been a regular starter in the Clarets U23’s side which is challenging for the Professional Development League title this season.
