Jack Armer Rejoins Lancaster City On Loan
Lancaster City have been given a timely boost to their squad with the return of Preston North End defender Jack Armer on loan until the end of the season. Having played a key part roll in the Dolly Blues squad, making 22 appearances and scoring 3 goals until his return to Deepdale in December.
After being recalled to Deepdale as cover the first team squad most notably as a substitute in the Preston North End v West Bromwich Albion Sky Bet Championship fixture back in December, Armer has been given permission to rejoin the Dolly Blues and manager Mark Fell says the timing is perfect.
Speaking about the signing Mark Fell said, ‘We’re delighted to welcome Jack back to the club, he is a great asset to have in our team and a the lads will see it as a real boost before this weekends fixture. We want to continue to give him the exposure to men’s competitive football and help him on his way to a long and successful professional career, he has a great attitude and he iss a real winner and you can see that in how he plays.”
Armer, will go straight into the squad for this saturday’s top of the table clash against South Shields at the Giant Axe. A win for the home side would see them go joint top of the Bet Victor Northern Premier League along side South Shields, however their North East rivals would still have three games in hand.
