Manchester City Winger Signs Short-Term Contract

Henri Ogunby Joins Clarets On Short-Term Contract

Chadwick Media reported two weeks ago that the Clarets U23 squad had taken a winger from Manchester City on trial at the club. Burnley Football Club this morning confirmed that Henri Ogunby has signed a short-term contract until the end of the season.

Ogunby, who turns nineteen on Tuesday has featured for the U23s against Nottingham Forest and Sheffield United in the Professional Development League earlier this month, the Bolton born winger joins the Clarets from Manchester City, where he featured for the U18s and U23s side on a regular basis as well as training with the first team several times, with the teenager making his debut for Manchester City’s youth team at fifteen years old.

The Clarets U23’s are next in action on Monday 3rd February (7:00pm KO) against Bolton Wanderers in the Professional Development League, the match will take place at Leyland County Ground and Ogunby is expected to make his Clarets debut.
