Burnley Football Club are ready to give Joe Hart the chance to become the Clarets Premier League number one again next season as the club are expecting first choice Nick Pope to be lured away for Turf Moor this summer with Chelsea keen to sign the current England International as they look for a replacement for Kepa.

Sean Dyche has had some excellent goalkeeping options over the last three seasons with Nick Pope, Tom Heaton and Joe Hart all fighting to be the Clarets number one. At one point all three goalkeepers were in consideration for England seclection at the same time.
Nick Pope, has won the race to be the Clarets first choice and his form at Turf Moor has seen fans favourite and club captain Tom Heaton leave the club to join Aston Villa for first team action. Pope’s form this season so him become Gareth Southgate’s favourite to be England’s first choice goalkeeper at Euro 2020, just before all football was cancelled due to the Coronavirus.

Whilst Burnley are looking at other options they are ready to give Joe Hart the chance to resurrect his career. Hart, who was linked with a move to join up with former Manchester City teammate Vincent Kompany at Anderlect last summer, has not played a Premiership game since December 2018, but he remains convinced he can still perform at the top level.
