Kieran Tripper Return Interesting Clarets Management Team
Atletico Madrid have confirmed that they are open to offers of £20 Million for former Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur International full-back Kieran Trippier if any Premier League clubs want to bring him back to England. The Madrid defender has already said in the media last month that he would love to return to Turf Moor to work under Sean Dyche.
Kieran Trippier arrived in Spain last summer following a £20M move from Tottenham Hotspurs after impressing at Atletico Madrid in La Liga, the full-back is considering a move back to his native North-West with his former club Burnley interested in a reunion.
The England International defender has checked out potential new homes in the north of England ahead of an eventual return. However, the price tag could prove to be a stumbling block in a potential return due to an inquiry into betting allegations against him which will mean a ban once he returns to the Premier League and this will have to be settled before a move can progress anywhere.
The right-back revealed he decided to leave Spurs last summer in a bid to play more often and keep his place in the England squad as competition is intense. He is therefore less likely to be looking for a move back to a top six club in the Premier League as he looks for regular first team football, re-joining Sean Dyche and the Clarets could be the perfect fit.
