Former Bantams Striker Signs For Colne Football Club

Reece Web-Foster Joins Colne Football Club For Third Spell

Colne Football Club are delighted to announce the signing of Reece Webb-Foster for the 2020/21 season. Reece, joined the Reds at the start of the 2018/19 season following his release from Bradford City and quickly became a fans favourite scoring 7 goals in his first 12 appearances, before an injury sidelined him for a number of months. He then joined Lancaster City for a short period before returning to Colne towards the end of that season scoring in the playoff defeat to Leek.

Despite having a number of clubs in the last two seasons, including Colne, Lancaster City, Ossett United, Droylsden (twice) and Buxton the Howarth born striker believes he can settle at the Sovereign Play Stadium after having two excellent spells at the club. Nathan Rooney has signed the striker because he is known for his ability to score all types of goals and this is going to be a major target for him and the team this season.

Speaking about re-joining Colne Football Club Reece Web-Foster said,“I can’t thank the gaffer enough for the faith he’s shown in me.  I’ve worked really hard on my fitness since the season ended and got that hunger back. I think the fans will see a different player when we eventually get started again. I’m delighted to be part of this group and know I can make an important contribution to the clubs future success”

The club are really working hard to win promotion out of the Northern Premier League North-West Division One with the signings of Reece Webb-Foster, Cooke and Coleman now completed, Burton, Pugh, Chippendale and Azam retained from last season, the Red Army will undoubtedly look forward to the next announcement as the Red Revolution continues.
