Joe Hart Will Leave Turf Moor At The End of Month
Burnley Football Club have this morning confirmed that they will not extend the contract of former England International keeper Joe Hart when his current deal expires at the end of this month. Hart, joined the Clarets from Manchester City in 2018 for £3.5 Million.

Joe Hart lost the number one spot and his place in the Clarets team after a 5-1 home defeat to Everton on Boxing Day in the same year and has made only three appearances since, all of which were in cup games. Nick Pope is Burnley’s current number one with Northern Ireland International Bailey Peacock-Farrell, number two at the club next season.
Hart’s career has suffered a major downturn since he was an integral part of two City title winning squads in 2012 and 2014, winning the Premier League’s Golden Glove prize on four occasions and earning 75 England caps. Pep Guardiola made it clear to Joe Hart he wanted to look at other options following his arrival at Manchester City.
Sean Dyche could select the former City goalkeeper on the bench for Monday’s trip to his former club at the Etihad Stadium as a final farewell to both clubs. Hart, has also had unsuccessful loan spells with Torino and West Ham before joining Burnley.
