Clarets Chasing Radamel Falcao Former Manchester United & Chelsea Striker
According to reports in the Telegraph newspaper, Burnley Football Club have made a £7.2Million bid for Galatasaray striker Radamel Falcao, who has some Premier League experience with both Manchester United and Chelsea Football Clubs.
Falcao, who has previously played for Lanceros Boyacá, River Plate, Porto, Atlético Madrid, Monaco, Manchester United and Chelsea is currently playing his football in Turkey for Galatasaray were he has scored thirteen goals in eighteen appearances.
The Colombian International has made eighty-nine appearances for his country scoring thirty-four goals since 2017. He is also the first Colombian to receive the Portuguese Golden Ball award whilst at Porto. In August 2011, Falcao was transferred to Atletico Madrid for a club record €40 million, winning the Europa League and Super Cup in 2012.
In May 2013, Falcao joined newly promoted Monaco for a club record €60 million, however an ACL injury ruled him out for several months before he spent the next two seasons on loan with at Manchester United and Chelsea in the Premier League. He rejoined Monaco in 2016, winning the Ligue 1 title in the 2016–17 season.
