Stoke City Reject Clarets Bid For Nathan Collins
Stoke City have this afternoon confirmed they have rejected a bid of just under £5m from Burnley for their young defender Nathan Collins. Stoke City are unlikely to be interested in anything less than double the amount offered by the Clarets, for the nineteen year-old who has become a first team regular.
Collins came through Stoke City academy where he’s been since the age of fourteen and where he signed a five year long-term contract in the summer of 2019. As Leicester City look to make a third attempt to sign Burnley centre-back James Tarkowski, its likely that Sean Dyche will enter another bid for Collins before the January transfer window closes.
