Lukas Jensen Joins Former Claret Matt Gilks On Loan At Bolton Wanderers
Burnley Football Club have this afternoon confirmed that goalkeeper Lukas Jensen has joined Bolton Wanderers on loan for the rest of the season. The youngster has linked up with the Sky Bet League Two side to gain further senior experience working with former Clarets goalkeeper Matt Gilks in training with Ian Evatt’s squad.
Lukas Jensen, who joined the Clarets at the start of last season after playing in his native Denmark has featured regularly for the Clarets U23’s at Turf Moor. He has also been included in first-team squads, sitting on the bench in the Premier League towards the end of last season.
Having trained with senior goalkeepers such as Nick Pope, Bailey Peacock-Farrell and Will Norris. His deadline-day move means he now gets the chance to push for first-team football at Bolton Wanderers as he fights former Clarets goalkeeper Matt Gilks for the number one spot at the University of Bolton Stadium.
