Connor Roberts – Wales International Is Clarets Transfer Window Target
According to reports in the Daily Mail, Burnley Football Club are targeting Swansea City and Wales International right-back Connor Roberts, the Swansea City defender impressed the Clarets management team with his performances at the Euro 2020 Championship and with just one year remaining on contract the Clarets believe he could be a cheaper option.
Roberts, who played every minute of Wales Euro 2020 group stages matches and help them reach the last sixteen knockout stage of the competition where they were beaten 4-0 at the hands of Denmark and sadly knocked out of the competition. Roberts however was substituted in the half-half of the match after suffering a groin injury.
There could be a player plus cash deal to be done with Swansea City for Connor Roberts as the Welsh side are keen to sign Burnley defender Jimmy Dunne who is set to leave Turf Moor at the end of this month and would be keen to move to the South Wales club.
