Clarets Make Second Offer For Oldham Athletic Midfielder
Burnley Football Club have returned to Oldham Athletic with a second improved offer for whizkid Harry Vaughan. The Clarets boss Sean Dyche has made an offer over £200,000 for seventeen year old, after an initial bid was rejected last summer.

Queens Park Rangers are also chasing the youngster as well as European sides FC Utrecht, FC Twente, Borussia Monchengladbach and Real Sociedad. The attacking midfielder has broken into the Latics first-team this season, scoring two goals and two assists in sixteen appearances. Vaughan was handed his Oldham Athletic debut at the age of sixteen by former boss Harry Kewell in February 2021.
He has twice represented his country at Republic of Ireland’s U19’s level this season and the Clarets have kept a close eye on the teenager during the first half of the season after being rebuffed in the summer. He has previously attracted interest from Everton and spent time training at Manchester City at the end of last season.
