Kevin McDonald Returns to Professional Game With Dundee United
Dundee United Football Club have this afternoon confirmed they have signed former Clarets midfielder Kevin McDonald who was a free agent on a contract for the rest of the season. The thrity-three year-old began his career across Tannadice Street at Dundee, before enjoying successful spells south of the border with Burnley, Sheffield United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and most recently Fulham Football Club.
Kevin McDonald, who returned to football in October 2021 following a kidney transplant, has also been capped five time by Scotland, with his last international appearance coming against Albania in 2018. The veteran has trained with the squad throughout January and is immediately available for selection in the Dundee Derby match against Dundee Football Club tonight.
