Clarets Sign Callum West From Macclesfield Football Club
Macclesfield Football Club have this morning confirmed that sixteen year old midfielder Callum West has secured a phenomenal move to Premier League club Burnley Football Club. After progressing through the youth ranks and into the first team via our pathway system, there can be no doubting the fact that Callum has a very bright future.
The deal has also seen the Macclesfield Football Club agree a compensation package that is aligned with Callum’s future progression. Speaking about the transfer Macclesfield director of football Robbie Savage said, “Whilst I am saddened to lose Callum, I am absolutely delighted that he has secured such a prestigious move. I have seen him develop as a player who has matured well beyond his years. I will be monitoring his progresses very closely and I wish Callum every success in the future.”
