Clarets Interested In Sign Centre-Back Taylor Harwood-Bellis
Burnley football Clubs preposed new manager Vincent Kompany looks set to raid his former club Manchester City to sign centre-back Taylor Harwood-Bellis for the Clarets on loan. The England U21 defender has spent time on loan under Kompany at Anderlecht last season, before having a loan spell in the Sky Bet Championship with the Clarets local rivals Blackburn Rovers.
Harwood-Bellis, returned home from working under Vincent Kompany at Anderlecht after becoming unsettled in Holland and joined Stoke City on loan in the January transfer window. Now the Clarets chief, Vincent Kompany hopes his relationship with former club Manchester City and the player can help get the defender to move to Turf Moor. The young defender is also wanted by English Premier League club Brentford and newly crowned Scottish Champions Glasgow Celtic, who have elite European football to offer him.
However, Taylor Harwood-Bellis has just purchased a new house in Cheshire and may be tempted to continue his education nearby under former Manchester City centre-back Vincent Kompany. The powerful and classy centre-back ultimately wants to play regularly for Manchester City. But Burnley can give him a promotion bid to play for as they look to replace James Tarkowski.
