Jed Wallace In Discussions to Join Clarets On Free Transfer
Burnley Football Club are believed to have made a late move to sign Millwall left winger Jed Wallace who is available as a free agent from the Sky Bet Championship club. Clarets new manager Vincent Kompany wants the wide man, who is leaving Millwall at the end of his contract and has the experience at this level.
Wallace, who started his career in the non-league with Carshalton Athletic, Farnborough Town and Lewis Football Club before joining his first professional league side Portsmouth were he spent four years making 110 appearances, scoring 27 goals. He then had a spell in the Midlands with Wolverhampton Wanderers making 18 appearances before joining his curent team Millwall initially on loan were he has made 222 appearances, scoring 42 goals.
However, the Clarets have competition for his signature with West Bromwich Albion manager Steve Bruce also showing interest in signing Jed Wallace. Brining the winger to Turf Moor would give new manager Vincent Kompany some experience in his squad should Maxwel Cornet or Dwight McNeil make the decision to leave the Clarets.
