Lukas Jensen – Moves to Accrington Stanley On Season Loan
Clarets goalkeeper Lukas Jensen has joined Sky Bet League One side Accrington Stanley on a season long loan. Jensen, joined the Clarets in the summer of 2019, becoming a regular in the U23 side.
The Danish shot-stopper then signed a new contract in January 2020 and featured on the bench for the first-team in the Premier League’s ‘Project-Restart’. The twenty-three year old then moved to Bolton Wanderers on loan until the end of the season. At the end of the season, the Clarets extended an option on his contract for a further twelve months and the towering keeper joined Icelandic side Kordrengir on a two-month loan for the chance of competitive football.
He then joined Carlisle United on a season long loan at the beginning of the 2021/22 campaign. Jensen will now join up with John Coleman at the Wham Stadium for the 2022-23 season where he will hope to gain more football league experience in goal for Accrington Stanley.
