Anass Zaroury Joins Burnley From Charleroi
Burnley Football Club have this afternoon confirmed their 14th signing of Belgium U21 International Anass Zaroury from Charleroi, on a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The forward has spent the last three seasons in Belgium, breaking into the first team in 2019 at Lommel in the second division before a move to Charleroi in the first division.

Zaroury has 14 goals in his 77 senior appearances and becomes Vincent Kompany’s 14th signing of the summer transfer window. The Mechelen-born attacker has represented Belgium from U17 to the U21’s, where he is still currently part of Jacky Mathijssen’s side.
After joining the Clarets, Anass Zaroury said, “I’m very happy, very excited. It’s the first time I have moved to another country to play football. The project here is clear and I can’t wait to get started here now.” Manager Vincent Kompany said, “Anass is an exciting young talent. He’s a player that can run and work hard for the team, whilst carrying great skill and goal threat.
