The Welsh winger has signed an eighteen month contract with the Clarets and is eligible to play for both the U18s & U21s initially. He will now join join the academy teams working with Tony Philliskirk, Ross Wallace and Andy Farrell as he looks to gain more experience and hopefully push for a first team shirt over the coming seasons.

Upon signing his deal at the Barnfield Training Centre, Tweedy was excited about what lies ahead with the Clarets saying, “This is a really proud moment for me and my family joining a club like Burnley. It’s the right time and the right place for me to come now and I know this will be somewhere I can progress in my career. There are some really great people at the club, which I have already met in my short time here over the last few days and  I just can’t wait to get going now out on the pitch.”
