Jordan Beyer To Sign Permanent Contract From Borussia Mönchengladbach
Sky Bet Championship leaders Burnley will take up their option to buy Germany defender Jordan Beyer once the club seal promotion to the Premier League, the Clarets have already agreed a fee with Borussia Mönchengladbach and the on-loan centre-back just needs to help Vincent Kompany’s side back into the top flight for the clause to be activated.
Beyer, has yet to sort out personal terms but that is seen as a formality as he is desperate to play in the Premier League, the Clarets will also make twenty-two year old striker Michael Obafemi’s move from Swansea City permanent for £3.5million in the summer.
The centre-back has become a real fans favourite at Turf Moor having signed on loan from Borussia Mönchengladbach on the final day of the summer transfer window. Having made twenty appearances for the club, Jordan Beyer scored the winning goal in a 1-0 win over Coventry City at Turf Moor. The German defender has been a real leader at the back for the Clarets, winning 62% of the tackles that he has made so far this season.
