Former Bantams Defender Joins Guiseley

Niall Heaton Joins Guiseley AFC

Guiseley AFC have this morning confirmed the signing of former Bradford City and England Schoolboy International defender Niall Heaton.  The centre-back started his career with Bradford City before being transferred to Liverpool where he was a regular in the Reds youth team.

Heaton, later returned to Bradford City signing a one year contract but failed to gain a place in the first team squad under Phil Parkinson, before going out on loan to Alfreton Town, where he played under currently Guiseley joint manager Russ O’Neill. Last season Heaton played 42 games for Nuneaton Town in National League North.
