Aleks Starcenko & Will Thornton Start Loans Away From Nethermoor Park
Guiseley AFC have this afternoon confirmed that academy graduates Aleks Starcenko and Will Thornton have both gone out on a months loan. Aleks has joined Bet Victor Premier Division side Hyde United for a temporary spell to boost his playing time and experience of mens football. Starcenko links up with former Lion Jack Dyche who made the move to Ewen Fields in the summer.

Also making a temporary move away from Nethermoor is Will Thornton who has now recovered from his broken jaw sustained in pre-season and has moved to Gainsborough Trinity to boost his match fitness under the stewardship of newly appointed manager Curtis Woodhouse.
Thornton will notice a couple of familiar faces in the Gainsborough Trinity squad with Kingsley James, Curtis Morrison and Gavin Allot all in their ranks as well as Lloyd Allinson who has joined Gainsborough on a dual-registration agreement, the keeper has also featured for Ashton United this season on the same terms but now links up with Trinity.

Sam Scrivens has returned to Nethermoor Park after enjoying a loan spell in the Bet Victor Northern Premier League with Matlock Town, this means the striker will now be available for selection for this Saturday’s trip to Gateshead in the Vanarama National League North.
