Niall Cowperthwaite Extends Dolly Blues Contract
Lancaster City have this afternoon confirm that midfielder Niall Cowperthwaite has signed a contract extension at the Giant Axe for the 2020-21 season. One of many top performers at the club during the 2019/20 season, he was an integral part of Mark Fell’s squad.
Cowperthwaite, made thirty-seven appearances, scoring two goals for the club in the season that never happened. The former Barrow AFC midfielder wants to help the club improve on an excellent 2019-20 season, speaking about signing a new contract Niall Cowperthwaite saud “We want to be up there again next season, this is a great group of lads and the club are keen to strengthen this summer so it all points towards us being in the race for promotion again. I’m looking forward to getting back out onto the pitch when football resumes.”
