Dolly Blues Bring Former Defender Back to the Giant Axe
Lancaster City have this morning confirmed the signing of defender Andrew Teague from Chorley Football Club, Teague returns to the Giant Axe after winning multiple non league titles. The central defender is a serial winner and returns to the club after a ten year spell at Victory Park where he made 390 appearances, scoring 30 goals.

Teague, becomes the clubs first summer signing and manager Mark Fell had this to say about his new addition, “Teague was a key summer target and we probably didn’t have the defensive depth we needed last season despite having the most clean sheets in the league, I felt we needed at least one, probably two more defenders at the club. Teaguey has all the attributes we look for he has got a great attitude, great defensive qualities and is an outstanding leader. It’s been very straight forward transfer as he wanted to play for Lancaster City and we wanted him here at the Giant Axe.”
