Rouwen Hennings Joins Fortuna Dusseldorf
Burnley Football Club have today confirmed that striker Rouwen Henning is heading back to Germany to join Fortuna Dusseldorf on a season long loan. Henning moved to Turf Moor last summer having scored 18 goals for second tier Karlsruhe in the 2014-15 campaign.
Having struggled to dislodge first-choice strikers Sam Vokes and Andre Gray from Sean Dyche’s starting line-up, Hennings will join Fortuna Dusseldorf who are currently third in the Bundesliga two table.
Hennings has so far made 27 appearances for the Clarets scoring just 2 goals against Cardiff City and Middlesbrough as the club was promoted back to the top flight.
