Clarets Chasing Anderlecht Winger

Burnley Planning Summer Move For Hassan

Burnley are planning a summer move for Anderlecht winger Mahmoud Hassan, the Egyptian International is commonly known as ‘Trezeguet’ after the retired France international David Trezeguet.

Hassan has only managed just eight league appearances since joining Anderlecht on an initial loan in 2015, however he has spent this season on loan with Kasimpasa in Turkey and has impressed with 14 goals in 27 appearances which is expected to land him a place in the Egypt 2018 World Cup this summer.

Burnley have scouted the forward and according to ESPN intend to firm up their interest with a bid when the transfer window reopens.  However the Clarets will apparently face competition from Everton and Leicester City, but the Turf Moor outfit hold the advantage in the battle for his signature as they will be playing European football next season.
