Sean Dyche Interested in Matty Phillips

Burnley are continuing to weigh up a move for Matty Phillips this summer after showing an initial interest in the West Bromwich Albion winger.  The Burnley Express has linked the Clarets with a move for Phillips, but the Premier League outfit are yet to firm up their interest in offering the West Brom star a route back to the top-flight.

West Brom are preparing for life back in the Sky Bet Championship, with Phillips still a member of Darren Moore’s squad ahead of next season. The winger has been with West Brom since the summer of 2016 when he completed a move to the Hawthorns from QPR.

Having made 57 Premier League appearances for the Baggies across two seasons as well as adding a further six appearances in the domestic cup competitions. Phillips made 30 Premier League appearances last season, scoring two goals as West Brom struggled to make an impact in the Premier League and eventually lost their top-flight status.

West Brom are already fighting off interest in Jay Rodriguez and Craig Dawson from the Clarets, with Sean Dyche’s looking to add them to his squad ahead of the 2018/19 season. campaign.
